Washington

September & October, 2021

Oh my! What a beautiful state! The landscape - with the fur trees, waterways, hills and mountains is magnificent. The air is crisp and clean (there are no cities to the west sending their pollution to the state.) The leaves and water literally sparkle. It is culturally different - the people are SO nice, the drivers polite and accommodating. It was absolutely delightful! We really did not want to leave.

Before you go on, I want to acknowledge how really really safe we felt in both Seattle and Bellevue in terms of COVID. EVERYONE, and I do mean EVERYONE, wore a mask indoors AND above the nose. About half the population wore them outside as well. Signs everywhere - no mask, no service. And it was marvelous that there did not seem to be individuals doing everything they could to skirt the requirement. It was as though everyone thought - we are in this community together and we will solve this together. Loved it!

Seattle

We are so looking forward to exploring Seattle during the month of September!

Vancouver

A sweet little town across the river from Portland, developing its waterfront and coming into its own.

Bellevue

We fell in love with this perfectly lovely city!
