A delightful and charming place with a sophisticated yet small town vibe. The downtown area includes condos and apartments in addition to shopping and restaurants. There is a lovely independent book store with a coffee shop, a theatre with professional performances, an outdoor music venue and much more. Greer

Anderson

Columbia

We were introduced to Columbia, the state capitol, by our friends Christina and Maria who lived here for several years. Armed with their recommendations and suggestions, we made a day of it in this interesting city during December, 2020.

State Parks near Greenville

We visited many state parks during our time in Greenville. The only requirement was that we be able to get to the park and return on the same day. While we were always glad to get out of the house, explore and get some exercise, we were consistently disappointed. Click below for more on why!
